Customer Rating: Summary: An easy and practical book Comment: This book is really easy for beginners like me. Before reading the book, I have barely touched on the surface of hair coloring; but going through the book, things seem to be very clear and easy for me.
However, I am not reading the book to be a hairdresser. I read it to understand more about the business of hair care in which I am working as a distributor.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful book! Comment: As a Master hair colorist of many years in New York and an educator, I use this book as a guide to teach my students. Well put together, valuable information, very detailed, easy to understand. I was very happy to find this "helper"!
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Haircolor Book for Beginners Comment: I am a cosmetology educator and I use this book to help me teach my students. Excellent for cosmetology students or some one who has been out of the business and wants to brush up on coloring . A little to basic for advanced professionals.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great book Comment: By far the best book on hair coloring that I ever came across. Covers theory and formulating in depth. It has a lot of practical examples, explains many problem situations and remedies.
The only possible drawback is that this book frequently has to refer to your color manufacturer's documentation - and it is not so easy to find good technical product documentation that is level with the high quality of this book.
Customer Rating: Summary: a reader from Georgia Comment: This book is brilliantly written and researched. It can be read at all levels of background. I highly recommend it for the colorist that wants to be knowledgeable. I picked it up and couldn't put it down.
